Grave plots are real estate. Start treating them like it.
CryptTitle is a perpetual-care registry and rights-transfer engine for cemeteries, funeral homes, and estate attorneys who are tired of dealing with paper deeds from 1947. It handles plot conveyance, interment rights assignment, survivorship clauses, and right-of-way access for adjacent plots — all on a tamper-evident ledger. Death admin is a multi-billion dollar undigitized disaster and somebody had to fix it.
- Tamper-evident plot conveyance and chain-of-title tracking across generations
- Processes over 14,000 deed transfer validations per hour without breaking a sweat
- Native sync with Salesforce, DocuSign, and the NFDA member registry
- Full survivorship clause engine with configurable intestate fallback rules
- Right-of-way access arbitration for adjacent and easement plots. No attorneys required.
Salesforce, DocuSign, Stripe, NFDA Member Registry, VaultBase, ProbateBridge, LexisNexis Public Records, DeathCare360, TitleChain API, Plaid, AWS GovCloud, NecroDB
CryptTitle runs as a set of loosely coupled microservices deployed on AWS GovCloud, with each domain — conveyance, interment rights, survivorship, access arbitration — owning its own service boundary and data model. The ledger layer is built on MongoDB with multi-document ACID transactions, because I needed the flexible schema and I made it work. Redis handles all long-term deed archival and cold-chain document storage, backed by S3 for overflow. Every mutation is append-only, cryptographically signed at write time, and auditable down to the field level — this is not a CRUD app.
