I didn't notice this at first but the checksums/hashes for .dll files inside osu!.cfg can probably be removed (and the osu!.exe as well if you intend to create a raw wrapper)

/Users/gverm/Desktop/tmp/ doesn't look like something that should be hardcoded.
Was this a permissions issue that required a change from /tmp/?

so i noticed that when i tried to play it it ran an app called XQuartz and it tried to run.. but then crashed, it then tried to run agai and never worked, can someone help? Also i'm running on a macbook air 2015 running mac os Mojave

Not working on mac. Just opens up Xquartz and nothing happens, bummer

We recommend osu!(lazer) for use on macOS these days. It is native and officially supported.
