IQ-TREE 2 — efficient maximum-likelihood phylogenetic inference (
iqtree2).Built from source via git (the release tarball omits the
cmapleandlsd2git submodules, so we clone andgit submodule update --init --recursive). CMake routes aarch64 to the ARM-NEON kernel and x86 to the SSE/AVX/FMA kernels automatically. Eigen headers are pointed at explicitly sincefind_package(Eigen3)misses the pkgx layout. Build parallelism is capped at-j2because the x86 AVX/FMA kernel translation units are very RAM-hungry at -O3.
