I'm using TYPO3 12.4.33 with pxa_social_feed 4.0.0.
I noticed that every time the social feed import runs, all Instagram images are downloaded again and stored as new files in the FAL (fileadmin), even though the corresponding Instagram posts have already been imported.
The newly created files have different filenames, so TYPO3 treats them as completely new files instead of reusing the existing ones. As a result, the fileadmin grows continuously with duplicate images, wasting disk space.
Is this the expected behavior, or is this a known issue? Is there any configuration option to reuse already imported images instead of downloading them again?
Steps to reproduce:
- Import Instagram posts.
- Run the import scheduler again without any changes to the Instagram feed.
- Observe that new image files are created in the FAL for the same Instagram posts.
