Follow these steps to get botfarm running on your Windows PC:

  3. Click Code, then choose Download ZIP from the dropdown menu. This will download the botfarm files to your computer as a ZIP file.

  4. Once downloaded, go to your Downloads folder and find the ZIP file.

  5. Right-click the ZIP file and select Extract All. Choose a folder where you want to keep botfarm (for example, your Desktop).

  6. Open the extracted folder.

  7. Before running botfarm, make sure Node.js is installed and working:

  8. Open the extracted botfarm folder. Right-click inside the folder while holding Shift, then select Open PowerShell window here or Open Command window here.

  9. In the command window, type this command and press Enter:

    npm install
    

    This installs the software’s necessary parts.

  10. After it finishes, start botfarm by typing this command and pressing Enter:

    npm start
    

botfarm will now run. You can follow its prompts or instructions on the screen.

  3. Open the config.json file in the botfarm folder with a simple text editor like Notepad.

  4. Paste your bot token in the correct field. It usually looks like this:

  5. Save the file.

  6. Run botfarm again (npm start).

botfarm will now connect to your Telegram bot and run it.

To keep botfarm up to date:

  1. Go back to your botfarm folder.

  2. Open the command window as before.

  3. Run this command:

    git pull
    

    This downloads any new updates.

  4. Run:

    npm install
    

    This updates the dependencies.

  5. Run:

    npm start
    

Your botfarm will now run the latest version.

  • Missing Node.js error: Make sure Node.js is installed and added to your system PATH.

  • npm install fails: Check your internet connection. Try running the command prompt as Administrator.

  • botfarm does not start: Check for error messages in the command window. They often describe the problem.

  • Telegram bot does not respond: Verify your bot token in the config file is correct.
