Hi! When I click on the "Morning Brief" and some other buttons on the splash screen of the Pieces App, I get an Error: gRPC Error (code 14: codeName: UNAIVAILABE, message: This service has been deprecated and is no longer accepting requests. Please contact support for migration guidance, ....

I am using the snap installation on Ubuntu Linux 24.04.

Hey @martingleiss - Thanks for reaching out here. So sorry you're running into this issue. This is likely a result of having an outdated version of PiecesOS and Pieces Desktop.

Unfortunately when we release new versions via Snap, they must go through various levels of approval by Snapcraft moderators, and this can get held up and lead to delays in update availability with the Snap distribution.

Instead, we recommend removing the Snap installation and leveraging our newer, more reliable Flatpak distribution.

If you need uninstall instructions for Snap, you can find those guides here: https://docs.pieces.app/products/meet-pieces/linux-installation-guide/snap#uninstalling

When uninstalling/re-installing, this should not impact any of the data/memories you have in Pieces.
