An attempt to address #22
It runs into a problem that looks related to a known problem with React Leaflet. I'm not convinced that the problem has really been resolved, although it will be worth looking at how markercluster fixed its issue.
The issue is when using a version of React Leaflet >4.0.0.
Much screwing so far around without a satisfactory resolution to this problem. The in-project demo is a lifesaver here, as the problem only reveals itself at runtime.
