Expand CI: run the test suite + shfmt (pin shellcheck) #6
Description
Goal
.github/workflows/lint.yml only runs shellcheck on rigforge.sh + util/proposed-grub.sh. Broaden it to pithead's level.
Proposed
- Add a test job that runs the new suite (above).
- Add shfmt formatting check.
- Pin the shellcheck version (avoid the same apt-mirror/version flakiness pithead hit in tune: confirm the applied config beats the previous one on the live rig (A/B) #64 — install the static release tarball + checksum, or pin the action).
- (Optional, gated) a compile-smoke job that actually builds the pinned XMRig.
Acceptance
- CI runs shellcheck + shfmt + the test suite on every PR.
- shellcheck version pinned/reproducible.

Partially addressed by #26 (which closes #5).
The test-job part of this is done:
.github/workflows/ci.ymlnow runstests/run.sh(the new suite) and an opt-in Docker E2E on every PR, alongside the existing shellcheck lint. For reproducibility theactions/checkoutaction is pinned by SHA and the E2E base image by digest.Still open for this issue:
