- SCP-PL-253 is a restaurant called "Częstochowa Fried Chicken" in Poland that sells regular, non-anomalous fried chicken. The anomaly isn't the restaurant itself or its food, but its owner, who is a friendly Fae (a type of magical being) known as PoI-PL-253. The owner has agreed to hide their true nature from regular people as long as they can keep running their business. The Foundation regularly checks on the restaurant to make sure the agreement is upheld.
- Disappearance of Frederick Valentich (?)
- The disappearance of Australian pilot Frederick Valentich on October 21, 1978, remains an unsolved mystery. While on a routine flight over Bass Strait, the 20-year-old pilot radioed Melbourne air traffic control, reporting that an unidentified aircraft was accompanying him about 1,000 feet above, describing it as having bright lights and a shiny metallic surface, before his transmission was cut off by metallic scraping sounds after he stated, "It's not an aircraft." Despite extensive search efforts, no trace of Valentich or his Cessna 182L aircraft was ever found, leading to various theories ranging from disorientation and a crash, staged disappearance, or suicide, to ufologists claiming he was abducted or his plane destroyed by a UFO, with some reports of a green light or fast-moving object in the sky around the time of his disappearance.
