Describe the bug

To Reproduce

1. Install a new node on a server using apt method.
2. Try resolving the deb.loki or rpm.loki addresses mentioned in the setup docs.

Device and Operating system (please complete the following information):

• OS: Ubuntu 24.04.3 LTS
• Device: VPS

without finding out why on the 1st place it might be a matter of time, as the direction is seemingly towards that... i haven't tried lokinet yet, but i found it interesting, so i would care...

maybe on tor faq i read that ip stacks vary more than tcp stacks (whatever it means - anyone with more concrete info?) and therefore it can be used easier for deanonymization, but otherwise they are interested and they would be able to implement it, which is against a selling point, but for torrent it would be a nice alternative to vpns (no ultimate best) or nothing, and it would likely be enough protection... (see the case of german torrent users for more on this...)

the "everything refactor" without releases for a long time and any easily visible activity has settled, but probably had a bad impact, so that doesn't matter future wise, but likely decreased the user base...

im not sure whether the single exit node is a single machine or not, but i know running an exit node is dangerous and only holy ppl who dont really that much need to care about the whole game could sleep well after firing up an exit node, but this might be an issue as well...

some consider oxen a valueless crypto or even a scam, im not sure, i guess i only opened any such source if anything (so the info might be around, beside ~700 other opened tabs), or i just read about it without any more meaningful explanation, but this might be a more serious thing... so why? it could even be a strength, and i didnt consider it as it needs to be really valuable to work as a mean of decentralization... im not really familiar with the other mixnets either, does any of them have a more resilient basis for its hidden services? could kademilla help? is there any mixnet based on it?

what can we know about the current status of the network? like the number of nodes and users...

ps: sorry if i helped alvesvin to go far from the topic, but i guess it is still somewhat related, while i saw commit messages at "everything refactor" and i guess i wont disturb many devs in heavy operations with highly bureaucratic workflow, and if the project is really about to die, then what else matters? anyhow, i wish all the bests to everyone around, and to lokinet as well! :)
