Hey, I'm Omar!

I am a PhD student in Computer Science, and a Graduate Research Assistant in the DIVA Lab at Drexel University.
I received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with First-Class Honours from the University of Calgary, where I was an undergraduate researcher in the HXI Lab.
Here you'll probably find repositories and code related to my research.

My research interests span embodiment, interaction, and perception in XR (AR, VR, MR), with a focus on avatars, social VR, multisensory perception, body perception, and tangible/physical user interfaces, all within the larger scope of human-centered computing.
