This repository contains the KiCad project files for a carrier board designed to interface with the Olive Robotics EdgeROS SOM01-X. The carrier board connects via the 2x18 pin connector on the EdgeROS and provides a USB 2.0 interface.

- KiCad 7.0.1 or higher
- Basic understanding of PCB design and electronics
- Clone the Repository: Clone or download this repository to your local machine.
- Open the Project: Navigate to the directory where you cloned the repository and open the KiCad project file.
- Review the Schematic: Open the schematic editor to review the connections.
- Inspect the Layout: Open the PCB layout editor to review or modify the board layout.
- Generate Gerber Files: Once you are satisfied with the design, generate the Gerber files for manufacturing.
- Assembly: Solder the 2x18 pin connector and the USB 2.0 interface components onto the carrier board.
- Connection: Connect the carrier board to the EdgeROS SOM01-X using the 2x18 pin connector.
- Testing: Power up the EdgeROS and connect a USB device to test the interface.
