A simple macOS app that turns your MacBook notch into a smart Dynamic Island for Apple Music, just like on the iPhone.
There are already a few apps like this out there, but honestly, I got pretty annoyed with them. Most ask for a paid subscription or spam you with ads just to use basic controls.
So I built my own version totally free, clean, and made just for people to use without any paywalls.
- Shows a mini equalizer in the notch when a track is playing
- Expands into a full media player when you hover your mouse over it
- Displays song title, artist, and album art
- Working controls: play, pause, next/prev track, and a timeline to jump to any part of the song
- Smooth lava glow effect in the background while music plays
Just go to the Releases section, download the .dmg file, and drag the app into your Applications folder.
Built with Electron, HTML, CSS, and plain JavaScript. Wrapped into an app using electron-builder.
