Mind Sarthi – AI-Powered Mental Wellness Platform
Mind Sarthi is a full-stack AI-powered mental wellness platform designed to make mental healthcare more accessible, affordable, and user-friendly. The platform bridges the gap between individuals seeking emotional support and licensed therapists by providing an online appointment booking system integrated with an AI-powered chatbot for instant assistance.
The application allows users to create secure accounts, browse therapist profiles, schedule therapy sessions, and manage appointments through an intuitive and responsive interface. For users who may not require immediate professional consultation, the AI chatbot offers empathetic conversations, basic mental health guidance, stress management tips, and emotional support while encouraging users to seek professional help whenever necessary.
The frontend was developed using React.js, providing a fast, responsive, and interactive user experience. The backend is built with Node.js and Express.js, exposing RESTful APIs for authentication, appointment scheduling, chatbot interaction, and user management. MongoDB serves as the primary database, securely storing user profiles, therapist information, appointments, and chat history.
To ensure data security, the platform implements secure authentication and authorization mechanisms, protecting sensitive user information and maintaining privacy. The system follows a modular architecture, making it scalable and easy to maintain while allowing future enhancements such as video consultation, payment gateway integration, AI-based mood tracking, personalized therapist recommendations, multilingual support, emergency assistance, and analytics dashboards.
Mind Sarthi addresses the growing demand for accessible mental healthcare by combining modern web technologies with artificial intelligence.
