Implementr

AI-powered research-to-implementation platform for software engineers.

Implementr bridges the gap between research papers and production codebases by combining Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), repository understanding, architecture reasoning, and implementation planning into a single workflow.


Overview

Reading a research paper is only the beginning.

The difficult part is translating novel ideas into an existing software system without spending hours understanding an unfamiliar codebase.

Implementr is designed to solve this problem.

Instead of only answering questions about papers, Implementr understands both the research and the target repository, allowing it to reason about architecture, execution flow, code structure, and implementation strategy.

Given a research paper and a codebase, Implementr can answer questions such as:

  • Where should this algorithm be implemented?
  • Which files are relevant?
  • Which existing components already solve part of the problem?
  • What concepts are missing?
  • How would the execution flow change?
  • What modifications are required?
  • How should the implementation be evaluated?
