BSIT student and full-stack developer building practical software for education, commuting, and everyday Philippine use.
I work with TypeScript, React, Next.js, Python, FastAPI, Firebase, Supabase, and SQLite. I care about simple interfaces, tested user flows, privacy, accessibility, and reliable deployment.
| Problem | Project | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Studying and active recall | Quizify | Turns notes, documents, URLs, and photos into interactive AI-generated quizzes. |
| Metro Manila commuting | Saan-Punta | Compares public transport routes and estimates fares. |
| School-event attendance | attendancething | Runs offline-first attendance with roster matching and exports. |
| Book discovery | BookPulse | Combines public data sources, metadata, and trend scoring. |
| Student assessment | QuickTest | Supports student, administrator, scoring, and analytics workflows. |
| Programming education | DevStack | Provides lessons, examples, and an in-browser editor. |
Also built: tikoy-pass-around, a Filipino-Chinese New Year web experience for sharing virtual Tikoy and lucky messages.
I start with a real user problem, keep setup and interfaces simple, and test critical user flows and failure states.
My projects have given me practical experience with unit and browser testing, CI workflows, accessibility checks, rate limiting, input validation, server-only credentials, SSRF defenses, and privacy-conscious data handling.
I also run Docker-based services through Windows and WSL2 and experiment with hosted and local language models. I use AI tools during development, but I review the output, verify behavior, and make the final design decisions.
I am improving my backend, database, security, and AI evaluation skills while continuing work on Quizify and BookPulse.
I am open to internships, student collaborations, open-source work, freelance projects, and junior development opportunities.
When I am not working on a project, I usually spend time reading, watching films, checking out PC hardware, experimenting with local AI tools, playing games, working out, or listening to music.
