Hey there! 👋 I'm Naomi — a transfem software engineer, community manager, and (failed) VTuber who's passionate about building inclusive tech communities and breaking down barriers in the industry. I am the founder of NHCarrigan, and what you're looking at is a small slice of that work.
This will never change: help people reach their own definition of success.
The previous open-enrolment mentorship programme that lived here was one way we tried to deliver on that — but it wasn't sustainable long-term at the scale we wanted to operate at. We're still figuring out how to do this well for everyone; in the meantime, we've reshaped what happens here.
A smaller, more private, tight-knit professional development programme — hand-selected by me personally.
Participants are invited based on demonstrated consistency, motivation, and passion for their craft. The smaller scale means I can give each person genuine, ongoing attention even when my schedule is full, rather than spreading myself thin across a crowd I can't realistically support.
If you were, and you're not part of the new one — please know this is not personal. It means we weren't properly equipped to support you to the level you deserved. That's on us, not you. 💜
