This PR was opened by the Changesets release GitHub action. When you're ready to do a release, you can merge this and the packages will be published to npm automatically. If you're not ready to do a release yet, that's fine, whenever you add more changesets to main, this PR will be updated.

Releases

@neta-art/cohub-cli@10.25.0

Minor Changes

  • 4c2684d: The CLI starts several times faster and uses far less CPU. It ships as one bundle, loads only the command you run, and reuses V8's compile cache, so cohub --version takes about 50 ms instead of about 300 ms and API commands use about a third of the CPU. With HTTPS_PROXY set, the proxy now applies in the same process instead of a second Node process.

    Self-updates no longer pile up: however many commands finish at once, one background worker checks for a release, at the lowest CPU priority and after a random delay of up to a minute. A failed check retries after 30 minutes. An install that runs too long is interrupted, never killed, so npm can roll it back. It also installs less: the SDK and other bundled or unused packages are no longer dependencies.

  • bdd8f65: Displays record and replay. cohub spaces displays record start | stop | ls records a screen into the Space folder (.cache/cohub/displays/recordings/) from the video it already streams, with no second encoder; --auto records agents' plans instead; record stop --auto ends that. Recording pauses while the screen reports a focused password field, or a person steps in. The SDK adds displays.record(), stopRecording(), recordings() and steps(turnId), the plans a Turn ran, which sandboxd logs for replay.

    cohub spaces displays windows lists a desktop's windows, and --window <id> on look, capture, tree and act reads one alone, in its own coordinates. A plan that stops now says what to do next: sandboxd adds stopped.hint, which names no command, and stopped.next (look, lookImage or list), a read safe to run as is, which the CLI prints as a command. A step that set a field says readBack when the field holds the text. Live sessions get the agent's pointer (pointer events) and the other viewers' cursors (cursors, sendCursor()).

    Needs a sandboxd with display recording; older ones answer display_unsupported.

Patch Changes

  • a744c22: Download sandboxd v2.95.0, bringing local Runtime workspace access, display control fixes and runtime bridge cleanup to npm installs.

  • e5b4b02: The SDK is much smaller in bundled apps. Zod is now imported as a namespace, so bundlers drop the parts that go unused, such as locales and JSON Schema. Gzipped through esm.sh-style bundling, the root entry drops from 206 KB to 142 KB, /host-bridge from 95 KB to 33 KB and /board from 166 KB to 104 KB. Every entry now comes from a single build that emits each module once. Before, the root entry carried its own copy of the Board model and layout, so text measurement installed by /board/render never reached BoardClient.

    cohub --help now prints from the command list captured at build time and loads no command code: about 70 ms instead of about 220 ms. cohub --version skips the command parser. boards and runtime commands load export rendering and the Runtime supervisor only when they need them, and the GPU export page ships minified. Together these make the package 1.4 MB smaller.

  • 6d2b802: files.read() on a cloud Space can now return a SpaceFsSymlink (kind: "symlink") instead of failing with symlink_not_supported. It carries the link text as target and, when that resolves inside the workspace, a workspace-relative targetPath. The target itself is never read. Use isSpaceFsSymlink() to tell it apart; symlinkReadError() builds the old error for readers that need file content. Local Spaces still follow symlinks. cohub spaces files cat --json prints this description for a cloud symlink.

    Hosts: callers of files.read() that branch on "content" in file to detect a preparing file must check isSpaceFsSymlink() first.

  • 3b0ecb3: Session patches copy only the content blocks they change. Untouched blocks keep their identity across generation state events instead of being deep-cloned on every patch.
