Automated localnet setup #1591

Closed
Closed

Description

@netrome

Background

Currently, we have a localnet guide that allows a developer to spin up a local MPC network through a series of commands. While this is good for illustrative purposes, we should complement this with a completely automated setup to allow for quick and easy experimentation.

Ideally, a developer should be able to run a single command like docker compose up or kubectl apply -f ./path/to/localnet/deployments and a fully fledged local network should be spun up ready to process commands.

User Story

As a developer I'd like to be able to quickly spin up a localnet to play with our system.

Acceptance Criteria

We have an automated way to spin up a local MPC network at the current commit. The MPC network should have all domains prepared and be ready to process signature requests.

    Could be worth doing after #1590 so that we can use the launcher in the localnet setup.
