Structured context for every AI session
Your AI doesn't need to remember everything. It needs to know where you are.

Lore turns AI conversations into structured project context — so you and your AI always know exactly where things stand.
Paste your ChatGPT / Claude / Gemini conversation into Lore, and it automatically generates:
- Project Snapshot — Current status, key decisions, risks, and blockers at a glance
- Next Actions — Tasks auto-extracted and organized by priority
- Project Summary — A living dashboard built from all your sessions
- AI Context — Structured context your next AI session can instantly understand
The problem: AI conversations are ephemeral. Every time you start a new session, you lose context — what was decided, what's blocked, what to do next. Manually tracking project state across sessions is tedious and error-prone.
The approach:
- Zero-backend architecture — All data stays in your browser (localStorage + IndexedDB). No server, no accounts, no data leaves your machine. This was a deliberate privacy-first decision: users paste sensitive work conversations, and they shouldn't have to trust a third party with that data.
- AI-powered extraction — Rather than asking users to manually organize their notes, Lore uses structured prompts with Zod schema validation to reliably extract TODOs, decisions, and status from unstructured conversation text.
- Chunk processing — AI conversations can be extremely long. Lore's custom chunk engine splits large inputs, processes them in parallel, and merges the results — handling conversations that would exceed any single API call's token limit.
| Area | Detail |
|---|---|
| Type Safety | TypeScript strict mode, zero as any casts. AI responses validated at runtime with Zod schemas |
| Chunk Engine | Custom pipeline that splits large conversations, processes chunks in parallel, and merges structured output |
| Client-Side Storage | localStorage for app state + IndexedDB for large data. No backend required |
| Fuzzy Deduplication | Jaccard similarity-based dedup prevents duplicate TODOs across handoffs |
| PWA | Installable on desktop and mobile with offline support via service worker |
| Accessibility | Semantic HTML, ARIA attributes, forced-colors media query support |
| i18n | 8 languages with a custom lightweight translation system (no heavy i18n library) |
| Chrome Extension | Companion extension that captures conversations from ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini with one click |
| Testing | Vitest for unit tests + Playwright for E2E, covering storage, transforms, schemas, and UI flows |
