I design distributed, event-driven systems at fintech scale — and I like building the same kind of infrastructure from first principles on my own time, just to understand it more deeply.

What I do at work:

• Architected a Kafka-based event-driven pipeline revalidating compliance data for 5M+ bank customers under a Central Bank of Nigeria regulatory mandate — sub-100ms latency at peak concurrency
• Led the architecture and design-review process for a 6-month monolith-to-microservices migration (DDD/CQRS) across a team of 4-8 engineers, with zero downtime for 100k+ business customers
• Work daily in C#/.NET, Python, Kafka, and Azure

What I build for fun:

• 🗄️ Timeseries DB — a custom timeseries database (Kafka + Parquet + PyArrow) sustaining 1M records/sec ingestion on commodity 8GB RAM hardware
• 🧱 Silobase — an open-source Backend-as-a-Service alternative to Supabase, built to work with any underlying database instead of locking you into one
• 🎵 TurnTable Charts — Nigeria's primary music charting platform, featured in Billboard, aggregating streaming data from multiple sources into official industry rankings
