- backend/data/offline_phrases.json: 60 exact-match phrases (medical,
emergency, rights, daily) → SASL gloss sequences. Cleaned: English
copula 'AM' glosses removed (copulas are not signed in SASL); entire
file flagged draft pending interpreter review (D15)
- sasl_pipeline: Tier 0 phrase match runs before the rules tier;
contraction + SA-slang normalisation ('I'm'→'i am', 'howzit'→greeting)
feeds it; phrase hits report sign_coverage and fingerspelled words
- tests/test_offline_phrases.py: 8 tests incl. a data-quality gate that
bans copula glosses from ever returning
Suite: 145 passed.
