Car Service Maintenance system |  The ReadMe.md 📖

Our project, CarCare, is a Porsche Car Service Maintenance system developed as part of our $1^{st}$ Year $2^{nd}$ Semester Group Project at university. Despite the mandate to use Spring Boot for the backend, we took a bold step with our frontend by leveraging HTMX and a stunning Tailwind CSS UI. This was a deliberate challenge to traditional Single Page Applications (SPAs), proving that intelligent Server-Side Rendering (SSR) combined with minimal JavaScript can deliver a superior SPA experience without relying on client-side rendering or heavy libraries.

Our backend, powered by PostgreSQL, ensures robust and efficient data management. By adopting a Kanban-inspired ' Divide and Conquer' approach, we achieved a highly polished and functional system that outperformed other student projects. This project stands as a testament to our ability to innovate and push boundaries, delivering a system that is both technically advanced and visually impressive.

Technologies Used

• Spring Boot: We use Spring Boot to manage the backend, including but not limited to authentication, database handling, and more. It provides a robust framework for building scalable and maintainable applications.
• PostgreSQL: PostgreSQL serves as our database, offering reliable and efficient data storage and management.
• Tailwind CSS: Tailwind CSS is used for styling, enabling us to create beautiful and responsive designs with ease.
• HTMX: HTMX, combined with Spring Boot, allows us to challenge the notion that React is the ultimate solution for web development. While React is great, it’s not everything. With HTMX and Spring Boot, we achieve a Single Page Application experience without full-page reloads and without relying on massive JavaScript libraries. This setup simplifies our development flow and enhances productivity.
