The full panel is 2338 px wide, which is hard to fit on smaller screens. System > Tabbed Layout shows the panel as three tabs (Oscillator, Filter, Control) beside a fixed screen section, with the transport row, System Volume and the System menu always visible. The choice is remembered beside the panel-skin preference.

Each tab is a list of original-SVG rectangles translated into a smaller view, so artwork, hit regions, LEDs and firmware wiring are reused unchanged; the classic layout is the identity mapping.

This was tested and verified manually through a build of the standalone version.

Thanks for putting this together. Making Wave easier to use on smaller screens is something I’d like to address, and I appreciate the effort to preserve the existing artwork and control wiring.

After reviewing it, I’m going to decline this PR. Splitting the original panel into tabs carries over too many of the hardware layout’s constraints, and the resulting groupings aren’t quite the direction I want for the UI.

I’d prefer to explore a single-page layout designed specifically for a computer screen, with clearer labels, more efficient spacing, and related controls visible together. I’ll handle that redesign myself while keeping the original panel available as an option.

Thanks again for the contribution and for highlighting the need for a more compact interface.

That is fine. I understand your point of keeping the entire synth overview. I'm on a 16" highres Mac laptop screen and even with the tab solution, it is difficult to read knob/button labels and screen text/graphics today. The "wooden" side panels doesn't add anything of value considering the dense synth layout.
