Add user defined charts

It seems that currently the AIP-Browser program can just put geo-referenced, official AIP-charts into a trip-kit, to be used as local geo-ref. overlay for several flight navigation apps.
As many small airfields like micro-ligth sides have no official AIP-charts but there own created charts and traffic patterns for their local pilots and guest, it would be nice to be able to create such private charts on my own and use it in a navigation app as overlay during flight in the same way.
Would it be possible (in future) to load any pdf-file into the AIP-Browser program, geo-reference it on my own and load it into a trip-kit?

That's an interesting idea but I doubt that this could happen anytime soon. It would require significant changes to the current code structure. Actually I am thinking about an even more far reaching variant of this but that will be done as part of a new software.
