RaMiX v1.1
Release Versioning
Starting with this release, future RaMiX updates and changelogs will be managed through GitHub Releases using version tags in the vX.X format.
What's changed
- Updated the RaMiX Testnet Bonus Guide, particularly the Bitcoin Core client and LND sections, to align with the latest upstream changes.
- Added a new lnd.conf parameter to encrypt the Onion private key using the wallet seed phrase. See diff: https://www.diffchecker.com/vitvs9Ed.
- Documented the required architecture and steps for extracting official MariaDB packages.
- The Bitcoin Knots configuration has been updated, adding support for RDTS signaling (BIP110) and Tor PoW defenses enabled by default.
- Removed the Go bonus guide, as it is no longer required.
- Added a new section: Force APT to Use IPv4, and relocated the IPv6 availability check accordingly. Thanks to @21Mill for the idea.
- Downgraded ThunderHub to v15.1 due to lack of meaningful recent improvements in LND API-based management features.
- Added missing GeoIP configuration steps to the Enable Lightning with a local LND node section to enable Lightning Network graph visualization in the explorer interface.
- Improvement of the compilation section from the source code in the Ordisrespector and Bitcoin Knots guides.
- The software version of some services was updated; no changes were made to the functional configuration.

Based on MiniBolt guide
A step-by-step & updated guide to building a Bitcoin & Lightning node, and other stuff on a Raspberry Pi
Main changes to RaspiBolt v3
This guide has been adapted from RaspiBolt v3, those are the most relevant changes:
- Changed OS from Raspberry Pi OS Lite Bullseye (Debian 11 based - 64-bits) to Raspberry Pi OS Lite Bookworm (Debian 12 based - 64-bits).
- Adapted to Raspberry Pi 5, with the possibility of using internal storage: a PCIe to M.2 adapter + SSD NVMe.
- Updated all services that have been tested until now, to the latest version.
- Changed I2P, Fulcrum, and ThunderHub guides, to be part of the core guide.
- Included all UI & UX improvements of the MiniBolt guide.
- Fixed some links and wrong command issues.
- Some existing guides have been improved to clarify the flow of steps to follow.
Other notes
-> The RRSS will be the same as the MiniBolt original project. Check -> HERE
-> The common resources like the Roadmap or Networkmap have been merged and will be used together. Check -> HERE
-> The attempt to upgrade from Bullseye to Bookworm (RaspiBolt to RaMiX migration) has failed due to several difficult-to-resolve dependency conflicts, so unfortunately, there will be no dedicated migration guide and only the possibility to start from scratch
For Raspberry Pi lovers!❤️🍓
