Hi, I'm Tatiana Mathis. I have an MBA in MarketingI build practical AI tools with the instincts of someone who ran a business. I'm a marketer and former agency CEO who knows what things cost, what customers actually need, and how to grow a product without burning money.

How I Build

I build lean on purpose. My tools start small, solve a real problem, and are architected so they can scale to a team when the need is proven. I'd rather write a better rate limiter than pay $50 a month for a service I don't need yet. I ask whether the problem justifies it first.

I work primarily in Python and use JavaScript/Node.js where a project calls for it.

ManualMakerAI: Turns mixed-format source files (PDF, docx, markdown, txt) into structured teaching manuals.
Malware Scanner: A Python CLI that flags 40+ suspicious patterns across files and scripts.
RFO document generator: A Node.js tool that assembles multi-author submissions for renewable energy RFOs.
Cybersecurity ROI Dashboard: Quantifies the return on zero-trust security investments so executives can decide with numbers.
AI training: Two Google/Kaggle AI Intensive capstones (Gen AI and AI Agents), plus Snowflake Gen AI and Data Engineering bootcamps covering RAG, agents, embeddings, and evaluation.

Business Background

I co-founded and ran Comm Geeks LLC, an e-commerce web development agency, for seven years. I owned the whole business: P&L, contracts, hiring and managing engineers, and client website launches from scope through delivery. I also ran the growth side myself, including SEO, Google Ads, A/B testing, and competitor research.

Before that, I developed marketing strategy supporting $102M+ in government renewable energy contracts and led the North American go-to-market for an indie PC game that sold 500K copies in its first year and 1M+ lifetime.

Security-Minded by Default

I've trained in cybersecurity through DoE CESER/INL CyberStrike (solar and wind OT/ICS) and DoD CMTC Zero Trust and CUI programs, and I apply frameworks like NIST SP 800-53, ISO 27001, and GDPR to how I build. Good tools know what they should do, what they shouldn't, and where a human stays in the loop.

NSAI Energy Cybersecurity Plan (Feb 2024)

Proprietary client work; details available under NDA.

Created an in-depth cybersecurity plan for NSAI Energy, a renewable energy developer. The plan was created to be included in a grant proposal and followed the cybersecurity capability maturity model (C2M2) by the DoE, as well as NIST SP800-61r3 recommendations. The plan was comprehensive with the client receiving: architecture and crisis chain of command suggestions, incident response procedures, auditing procedures, asset management documents, and a vendor on-boarding program.
