[Partner Center] Latest publishing not shown – Easysub (Submitted July 30) #734
I am writing to inquire about the review status of our extension, "EasySub". We originally submitted it for review on July 30, and it has been pending in the Partner Center for over three weeks without any updates.
Could you please help confirm its current review status? Or kindly let us know if any additional information, test accounts, or modifications are needed from our side to expedite the process.
Hi 编程小白 (@Huchangzhi) I see that the last submission done on 7/18/2026, 3:14:26 PM, successfully completed and passed its review on 7/29/2026, 10:21:44 AM and the updated version Version 1.1.0 is live on the store.
Thanks for your reply! However, I think there might be a small misunderstanding. The submission you mentioned (completed on 7/18 and passed on 7/29) is version 1.1.0, which is indeed live on the store.
My question is about the newer submission, version 1.2.4, which was submitted on July 30, 2026. As shown in the screenshot above, it has been stuck in "In review" status for over three weeks now, well beyond the stated 7 business days.
Could you please help check the actual review status of version 1.2.4? Please let me know if any additional information is needed from my side.
We do not see any new submissions in our system after the one that completed on 7/29/2026, 10:21:44 AM. Could you please try republishing your updated package so that it can go through the review process?
If you encounter any issues during republishing, or if there's anything blocking you from proceeding, please let us know. We're happy to assist and help unblock you.
Thanks for your help! Just to let you know, I have already re-uploaded and submitted the new version (1.3.4).
However, I have a quick question: is there any internal package size limit for Edge Add-ons submissions? For context, our previous version (1.1.0) was about 172MB and passed review normally. The new version (1.2.4) is about 375MB (we upgraded the built-in speech recognition model), and that submission seemed to disappear from the system.
Could you help confirm if the package size could be the cause of this issue? Also, could you please keep an eye on my newly submitted version to ensure it successfully reaches your review queue this time?
changed the title [-][Partner Center] Request for review status – Easysub (Submitted July 30)[/-][+][Partner Center] Latest publishing not shown – Easysub (Submitted July 30)[/+]on Aug 26, 2026
There is no specific package size limit that would automatically prevent an extension from entering the review process. Therefore, the increase in package size from approximately 172 MB to 375 MB is not necessarily the cause of the issue you observed.
However, if you face any issues while republishing the package then please do share the issue screenshots along with the HAR file to help investigate the issue and help unblock you, thanks.
Thank you for the clarification — good to know the package size isn't the blocker!
Following your suggestion, I have republished the updated package (version 1.3.4). Since the currently live version (1.1.0) has several known issues and our user base is growing quickly, this update is quite important for us.
Could you kindly check on your side whether the new submission (1.3.4) is now visible in your system and has entered the review queue? Given that the previous submission never showed up on your end, I'd feel much more at ease once it's confirmed.
If anything looks off, I'm happy to provide screenshots and the HAR file as you mentioned.
We are still unable to see any new submissions in our system. Could you please provide the relevant screenshots along with a HAR file? Once we have those details, I can engage the engineering team for further investigation and help unblock you as quickly as possible.
I'd like to share a complete timeline of the issue in one place, with all the
details I've gathered.
Extension: EasySub
Store ID: 0RDCKBFSGTFD
Product ID: 38fca2e3-39d5-48f5-9b92-dd7d3970ec0e
Uploads have been flaky since version 1.1.0
When I uploaded the 1.1.0 package, the upload failed with "Something went wrong.
Please check your network settings." However, after leaving the page open for a
while, it eventually showed the upload as successful. That version passed review
and is live. (This matches the behavior reported in issue [Bug - Partner Center] Uploading a new extension package (.zip) in Partner Center fails #603.)
The latest version (1.3.4) hit the same problem — but the submission disappeared
The latest submission showed the same flaky upload behavior, but this time the
submission never reached your review system: Partner Center keeps showing
"In review," while your side sees no new submission at all.
About the HAR file you requested
I tried to record a HAR as requested, but during recording the upload kept failing
with the same 400 errors, and I could no longer reproduce the "eventually succeeds"
behavior. So unfortunately I was unable to capture a HAR of a successful upload.
I can share the HAR of the failed 400 attempts if that helps.
REST API attempt → HTTP 500
Because the live 1.1.0 has known bugs and my user base is growing, I'm in a hurry
to ship this update, so I tried the REST API instead. The upload endpoint
(POST /v1/products/{productID}/submissions/draft/package) failed with HTTP 500
after the full ~388MB body was sent:
Now stuck at "Cancelling"
After that, I clicked "Cancel submission" for the stuck 1.3.4 submission in
Partner Center, but it has been showing "cancellation in progress (5-10 minutes)"
for over 20 minutes and never completes, even after refreshing. I'm fully blocked
at this point.
If it is still stuck at "Cancelling" when you see this tomorrow, could you please
cancel / reset the submission state on your side? The submission record for this
product seems to be stuck in an inconsistent backend state (similar to issue #720).
Relevant screenshots are attached. Thank you so much for your patience and help!
I have forwarded the issue to our engineering team for further investigation and to help unblock you. If any additional information is required from your side, I will reach out to you. In the meantime, I will keep you updated and share any news from the team as soon as it becomes available.
Thanks Rahul-Bauri ! Standing by for any updates. Just a quick note in case it helps
the team: as of now the submission is still showing "Cancelling" on my
Partner Center. Appreciate all the help!
We received an update from the engineering team confirming that the workflow is currently stuck due to the large package size indeed. The compressed package is approximately 385 MB, and a single file within the package is about 379 MB in size.
To resolve this issue, the package size will need to be reduced, particularly the large file, and then the submission can be republished.
Thank you for the update from the engineering team — great to finally have a
confirmed root cause!
I have already prepared a new version with a much smaller package (about 80 MB
now, reduced from ~385 MB).
However, I'm currently unable to republish: the previous 1.3.4 submission is
still stuck in "Cancelling" state in my Partner Center (it has been showing
"cancellation in progress" for several days now), so I cannot upload or submit
anything new.
Could the engineering team please clear / reset this stuck submission state on
their side? Once it's cleared, I will republish the smaller package immediately.
I have communicated the issue that you are unable to republish the package because the current workflow is stuck in a "Cancelling" state. Once the engineering team clears this stuck state, I will update you immediately so that you can attempt to republish the package again. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Could you please try republishing the extension with the smaller package size now? The engineering team has successfully canceled the stuck workflow. If you encounter any issues during the republishing process, please let me know, and I'll coordinate with the engineering team to investigate further and help unblock you as quickly as possible.
Great news! The stuck "Cancelling" state has been cleared, and I was able to proceed.
I have successfully uploaded and submitted the new version with the significantly reduced package size (~80 MB, without the large single file that triggered the issue).
Could you please do a quick check on your end to confirm that this new submission has successfully reached your system and entered the review queue? I just want to make sure everything is normal and it hasn't "disappeared" like last time.
Thank you and the engineering team so much for all the help in getting this unblocked!
编程小白 (@Huchangzhi) Thanks for the confirmation. Please feel free to open a new issue if you encounter any challenges in the future. We will be happy to assist and work with you to resolve them.
