This version specifically REDUCES risk and permissions:
- It fully removes the Creator Center (creator.xiaohongshu.com) feature that
was associated with the previous 1.2.2 Security finding. The
creator.xiaohongshu.com host permission and its content script have been
removed from the manifest, and the extension no longer accesses that domain
in any way.
- It also no longer requests the "cookies" permission and does not read, store,
or transmit any third-party cookies or session tokens.
- The rest of the release is bug fixes and stability improvements. It adds no
new permissions, no new host permissions, and no new user-data categories.
Our currently published version on the store is 1.2.8 (1 month ago), so existing users are
many releases behind and are affected by bugs already fixed in this build. The
item is Hidden (not publicly listed). We'd greatly appreciate an expedited
review so we can ship these fixes to current users.
