Offline-First Medical Inventory & Reporting System

A production-oriented Android application designed to digitize medicine inventory workflows in healthcare facilities — built for environments where reliability matters more than connectivity.


🚨 Problem

Healthcare facilities—particularly government hospitals and rural clinics—face persistent operational challenges:

  • Reliance on manual registers or fragmented tools (Excel/WhatsApp)
  • No proactive tracking of medicine expiry
  • Delayed reporting to higher authorities
  • Inefficient and reactive reordering processes
  • Limited or unreliable internet connectivity

These inefficiencies result in:

  • Medicine wastage
  • Stock shortages
  • Administrative delays
  • Increased operational risk

MediNeed is an offline-first medical inventory system that enables healthcare staff to manage medicine stock, track expiry, generate reports, and streamline reordering workflows — all from a single Android device.

It is designed to be:
