Summary

Replaces the local CI and release jobs with the organization-wide reusable workflows from maptoolkit/.github to reduce duplication across our MapLibre plugins.

  • CI (ci.yml): now calls npm-ci.yml (lint, typecheck, test, build). Runs on pull requests and on pushes to main only, so the fork/duplicate-run guard is no longer needed.
  • Release (release.yml): now calls npm-release.yml (changesets release PR / npm publish). After a successful publish it triggers:
    • deploy-pages.yml – demo deployment to GitHub Pages (renamed from deploy_pages.yaml; previously triggered by v* tag pushes)
    • publish-docs.yml (new) – publishes the README to the Maptoolkit docs repo
  • README: documents the supported maplibre-gl version and updates badges.

Notes

  • Requires the DOCS_REPO_TOKEN secret in this repo (or at org level).
  • Pushes to feature branches without an open PR no longer trigger CI.
  • Shared workflows are referenced via @main, so changes in maptoolkit/.github apply here immediately.
