What changes

  • README rewritten: opens with "Which MainSequence tool do I install?" (VS Code, Codex, Claude Desktop, terminal CLI: what you get, install command, repository, shared sign-in and platform support), then the ms-devtools command line, the library API (discovery and account binding, project MCP client, shared project-tool registry, agents/projects/workspaces/transport guides), development and release. No version numbers except the two SDK minimums sync requires.
  • Deleted: docs/integration-roadmap.md, docs/phase-1-verification.md, docs/phase-2-verification.md, docs/phase-2-release.md, docs/conversational-mcp.md (stub). Git keeps the history.
  • Guides made version-free: docs/agent-conversations.md (release history paragraphs removed), docs/shared-project-operations.md, docs/organization-projects.md ("Foundry" → "Command Center"). ADR 0001 and ADR 0003 no longer link to the removed records.
  • scripts/check-docs.cjs in release:check: links resolve (README, guides, ADRs), npm run scripts exist, README and guides name no versions, README links every host repository and guide.
  • Version 0.3.13: docs only, no runtime change.

Verification

npm ci --ignore-scripts, then npm run release:check: type-check, build, tests, release metadata, docs check, npm archive dev-mainsequence-devtools-0.3.13.tgz (82 files) verified from an isolated consumer.

After merge

  1. Tag v0.3.13 → release workflow publishes to npm with provenance.
  2. Create the GitHub release for v0.3.13 with these notes (and one for the already-published v0.3.12, which has a tag but no release).

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

The README opens with the table of the three MainSequence hosts (VS Code,
Codex, Claude Desktop) and the terminal CLI: what each gives you, how to
install it and where it lives. The rest describes the command line, the
library API, the project MCP client, the shared project-tool registry and the
release procedure in the present tense, without version numbers; the two SDK
minimums that sync requires are the only versions it names.

Deleted: the integration roadmap (the table replaces it), the Phase-1 and
Phase-2 verification records, the Phase-2 release record and the
conversational-MCP redirect stub. Git keeps them. The remaining guides are
version-free; ADR links to the removed records say so.

scripts/check-docs.cjs runs in release:check: links in the README, guides and
ADRs resolve, named npm scripts exist, the README and guides name no versions
beyond the SDK minimums, and the README links every host repository and guide.
