PathaCharcha

PathaCharcha is a React-based blogging platform built with Vite, Redux Toolkit, and Appwrite. It allows users to create, edit, and manage posts with a rich text editor and image uploads. The platform includes authentication, protected routes, and a responsive UI styled with TailwindCSS.

Getting Started

  1. Clone the repository:

    git clone <repository-url>
    cd pathacharcha
  2. Install dependencies:

    npm install
  3. Configure environment variables:

    • Create a .env file in the root directory.
    • Add the following variables:
      VITE_APPWRITE_ENDPOINT=<your-appwrite-endpoint>
      VITE_APPWRITE_PROJECT_ID=<your-appwrite-project-id>
      VITE_APPWRITE_DB_ID=<your-database-id>
      VITE_APPWRITE_COLLECTION_ID=<your-collection-id>
      VITE_APPWRITE_BUCKET_ID=<your-bucket-id>
      VITE_TINYMCE_API_KEY=<your-tinymce-api-key>
      
  4. Start the development server:

    npm run dev
  5. Open the app in your browser at http://localhost:5173.

Scripts

  • npm run dev: Start the development server.
  • npm run build: Build the project for production.
  • npm run preview: Preview the production build.
  • npm run lint: Run ESLint to check for code quality issues.
