This repository contains a lab report I completed using the ABACUS tool on nanoHUB. The goal was to simulate a PN junction and see how it actually behaves compared to the equations we learned in class.
- Carrier Concentration: I used the tool to plot how electrons and holes are distributed.

Band Diagrams: I generated
$E_c$ and$E_v$ plots to see the bending at the junction. - I-V Curves: I ran simulations for forward and reverse bias to check the current flow.

Doping Effects: I looked at how changing
$N_a$ and$N_d$ impacts the depletion region width.
