TWiLightTools

A tool for previewing TWiLightMenu++ themes without putting it onto your actual DS or dumping your DSi's BIOS so you can use it in an emulator.

How to Use

Navigate to the Releases tab and download the latest release for your operating system.

Previewing Themes

1. Click "Edit..." next to where it says the location of your theme folder and select your theme folder.
2. In the menu bar, click View then the screen you want to view.

Rendering Themes

1. Click Render.
2. Select the screens you want to render.
3. Press Render again and select where you want to save the rendered files. Please note that rendering does not work well at the moment, I recommend simply screenshotting the preview of the screen you want instead.

Using theme.ini Tools

In the menu bar, press Edit then Open theme.ini Options.

Development Setup

To run the raw source code:

1. Download GhostScript AGPL version for your operating system from the GhostScript Releases Page. (This is optional if you don't want to compile the application or render anything.)
2. Install it on your system.
3. Install Pillow by running pip install pillow in your command line.

To compile the application:

After following the instructions above, install pyinstaller with pip install pyinstaller, then run build.bat or build.sh depending on your operating system.
