The first goal for the project is to achieve a minimal functioning demo engine, that is, a minimal game that has a main menu screen, an options/settings screen, has a game state that allows the player to play a demo game of blackjack with simple betting mechanics and a minimal AI for the dealer. The full game and all its features will grow as extensions of the base that we will create upon hitting this milestone.
