Dear Passengers has not been released yet. FLEXUS plans to launch it for Windows on Steam in 2026, but the studio has not announced an exact release date or price. Steam currently lists single-player and online co-op, with one crew member flying while others deal with passengers, cargo, weather, and whatever breaks next.
This article separates confirmed details from the gaps that still attract guesses.

The official Steam listing is the primary source for the release window, platform, modes, description, and minimum PC specification. The release tracker records changes without assigning dates to rumors.
FLEXUS presents Dear Passengers as an action-adventure game built around an airline crew trying to complete chaotic flights. The official trailer and screenshots show a first-person view. Before takeoff, the crew chooses passengers and cargo. Higher-paying choices can bring harder problems. Once airborne, one player can control the aircraft while the cabin crew serves food and drinks, secures cargo, and handles emergencies.
Weather and physics connect the two sides of the plane. Turbulence and air pockets can throw luggage, objects, and passengers through the cabin. FLEXUS has also described hazards such as lightning damage and a bird entering an engine. A pilot's decisions can create more work for everyone behind the cockpit door.
The public material does not establish the number of aircraft, routes, passenger types, upgrades, missions, or difficulty settings. Those systems may change before release, so a detailed progression guide would be premature.
Steam lists online co-op and single-player. FLEXUS describes separate cockpit and cabin responsibilities, but has not published a minimum or maximum crew size. Matchmaking, invites, hosting, reconnect support, local co-op, voice chat, and crossplay also remain unconfirmed.
The single-player label confirms that you can play alone. It does not explain how one person handles simultaneous cockpit and cabin tasks. The multiplayer guide tracks the player-count and networking questions as FLEXUS answers them.
FLEXUS founder Semen Kozyura said the team was preparing a Gamescom build and planned to release a public demo afterward. Steam does not show a demo download or Playtest registration button at the time of writing. FLEXUS has not announced a public-demo date, distribution method, or access window.
Until an official link appears, downloads claiming to be a Dear Passengers demo should be treated with caution. The demo status page checks the official Steam listing and developer statements.
Steam currently publishes minimum requirements, not recommended hardware or a performance target.

The listing does not state the expected resolution, graphics preset, or frame rate for this hardware. Recommended specifications, Steam Deck compatibility, macOS, and Linux support have not been announced. See the PC requirements page for the source notes and current gaps.
FLEXUS reported through the game's official Steam news feed that Dear Passengers reached one million wishlists in two days and entered Steam's Top 25 most-wishlisted games. In a July 17 interview, Kozyura gave DOU an approximate 1.2 million figure. That later number is a developer-reported snapshot, since Steam does not publish a live wishlist counter.
Wishlists show interest, not sales or concurrent players. The rapid response does explain why release-date, demo, and player-count questions spread before FLEXUS had answers ready.
FLEXUS still needs to confirm:
- the exact release date and price;
- the public-demo date and download location;
- the online co-op player limit;
- console, crossplay, and local co-op support;
- recommended PC specifications;
- the number of planes, routes, missions, and progression systems.
