Claude Code's and Codex's ACP adapters offer Fast mode (faster replies for more usage) as a session option. Bots now have a Fast mode setting that switches live sessions before each turn, without restarting the agent. When the agent turns it back off (Claude without extra usage), the bot shows that it was refused and why. It's toggled from the composer (desktop bolt button, iPhone + menu, terminal `F`) or the bot's settings. Cursor's own `fast` option stays one of the model's options.
