LearnLoop AI — Where Knowledge Becomes Currency

LearnLoop is a peer-to-peer knowledge exchange ecosystem where students teach and learn. It is powered by a gamified Knowledge Credit economy that turns passive consumers into active contributors.

This repository houses the source code and documentation for the LearnLoop AI web application.

  • Incentive Gap: Excellent students have no compelling reason to teach others. We provide a robust reward structure.
  • Unstructured Learning: WhatsApp and Discord are chaotic. LearnLoop offers structured, verified learning.
  • Knowledge Wastage: Subject experts graduate, and their knowledge evaporates. We keep that knowledge in the loop!

  3. Skill DNA Profile: A dynamic radar chart of subject strengths built from session history—your academic fingerprint.
  4. Smart Credit Pricing: AI dynamically adjusts credit cost based on demand/supply for a topic (surge pricing for knowledge).
  5. Doubt Clustering: Groups similar doubts and serves one tutor to multiple students simultaneously for massive efficiency.
  6. AI Doubt Pre-Processor: Before posting, AI reformulates vague questions into clear, answerable ones to raise question quality.

  • Tutor-Learner Matching: NLP + collaborative filtering to match users based on expertise, language, and past ratings.
  • Doubt Processing: NLP to understand and route questions effectively.
  • Session Intelligence: AI actively monitors and summarizes the quality of peer-to-peer sessions.

🔄 How It Works (The 6 Steps to Knowledge)

  1. Registration & Verification: Sign up with an institution email -> OTP verification -> create a profile (expertise + interests) -> receive 20 starter credits.
  2. Post a Help Request: Fill out a request form -> AI auto-tags subject/topic -> set urgency + language + duration -> request goes live on the feed.
  3. AI Matching: The system scores all tutors (using expertise, availability, rating, and history) -> recommends the top 3 -> accept or browse all.
  4. Session Execution: Enter the session room -> real-time chat + collaborative whiteboard + optional video (WebRTC) -> tutor shares notes.
  5. Credit Transfer & Feedback: Session ends -> learner rates tutor -> AI scores quality -> credits transfer -> badges & streaks update.
  6. Profile Growth: Credits, badges, and subject mastery update -> leaderboard refreshes -> AI-generated session summary is sent to your inbox.

👥 User Roles

Everyone in LearnLoop has a role, and roles are completely fluid:

  • Learner: Posts help requests, spends credits, and rates sessions.
  • Tutor: Accepts requests, conducts sessions, earns credits, and builds reputation.
  • Hybrid (Most Users): Every student is both a learner and a tutor—this is the core philosophy of LearnLoop!
