A free, ad-free, login-free drinks encyclopedia. One page per drink.
Every number on a page — quantities, dilution, final volume, strength, standard drinks, sugar, energy, brewing ratios and timing — is computed from structured data rather than typed into prose. Change the drink count and the whole page recomputes; switch to US customary and the measures follow, in the method text as well as the checklist. Nothing is hand-typed, so nothing can drift out of step.
The arithmetic is the point rather than a discipline. Dilution, batching, strength and brew ratio are the calculations working bartenders do constantly and home drinkers get wrong, so the site does them: how much water a stir adds, what a batch of twelve needs in place of the ice it will never meet, and why the same drink made both ways is the same drink.
Static site, no backend, no accounts. Anything the site remembers about you — your shelf, your plan, your units, your theme — lives in your own browser.
Drink, ingredient and reference text is original. Composition figures come from USDA FoodData Central, from producers' own published figures, and from Open Food Facts. Photography comes from Wikimedia Commons under the licence each image carries; every image is credited on the image itself, with the processing applied to it, and the terms owed to each source are on the sources page.
