RustDesk 1.4.8 (custom) — hide-cm restored + no auto-update

Unofficial community build of RustDesk 1.4.8 with two changes vs upstream:

1. Re-adds the "Hide connection management window" option. This is not a Pro-only feature — RustDesk removed it from all versions (reportedly over antivirus false-positive concerns), so even a Pro license doesn't show it. It's a frequently requested feature that upstream has said it will not add back, so this fork simply restores it.
2. Disables the software-update check and auto-update — no "new version available" prompt and no automatic download/install.

Everything else is identical to upstream. Source is in this repository (AGPL-3.0).

Downloads

• Windows — rustdesk-1.4.8-custom-x86_64.exe (portable single-exe, self-extracting; same format as the official download). Just run it.
• Linux (Debian/Ubuntu) — rustdesk-1.4.8-custom-x86_64.deb

How to enable the hide option

In Settings → Security: set Accept sessions via password + Use permanent password, set a permanent password, then tick Hide connection management window.

Note: because upstream removed this feature over antivirus false-positives, some antivirus engines may flag these builds.
