chore: contributor funnel — CONTRIBUTING, issue/PR templates, .mailmap#4
Merged
Conversation
Lower the barrier to first contribution and route new contributors to the highest-value work (adding framework samples): - CONTRIBUTING.md: ways-to-contribute menu, a 20-minute framework-sample skeleton, and a list of frameworks with no sample yet. - Issue templates: bug report + "new framework sample" request; config routes security reports to the private policy. - PR template with a focused checklist (scope, tests, docs, CLA). - .mailmap: collapse three git identities for the same maintainer so contributor counts are truthful. Groundwork to grow distinct contributors (the highest-weighted OpenSSF criticality signal). This repo is the lowest-friction entry point — samples run against the hosted API with one test key, no infra.
What's added
No fabricated issues — the wanted-frameworks list lives in docs; real issues get filed as genuine tasks arise.
