I'm a recent master's grad from the University of Chicago. My studies there focused on AI & Materials Modeling, and I worked in Dr. Chibueze Amanchukwu's lab (@AmanchukwuLab) developing an automated robotic system for assembling coin cell batteries (BatteryLab). I'm heading next to North Carolina State University's Chemical and Biological Engineering program to begin doctoral studies in the fall.
Previously, I studied chemical engineering at Brigham Young University in Provo, UT. During the schoolyears between September 2023 and September 2025, I worked with Dr. David Lignell (@BYUignite), developing a flamelet-progress variable approach to more accurately capture fire and flame behavior under high stress with heat loss (including radiation). On the side, some friends and I got up to building a prototype self-moving chessboard (Harry Potter-style), as well as a auto-balancing see-saw contraption to test out nested PID loops.
