Hi,

First things first, i love this theme.

I've tried to install this myself as i saw this video and made me install EndeavourOS.

How do i install this to make it look exactly like you did?

I followed the instructions but nothing looks like you did in the video? :(

Sorry if this is the wrong place but i really like this theme and want to use it.

Sorry i can't get a screenshot right now but basically

The panel looks like standard still it doesnt look transparent,

I tried installing the kwinscript and nothing happened.

It basically looked like normal KDE but with the close buttons like the ones in the video.

No File, Edit menu etc

Will try get screenshots afterwards.

ah, for the menu buttons go ahead and drag on the global menu widget into your panel. it'll not show anything at first but if you're in an app like konsole for example all the buttons show up where you put the widget.

as for transparency in the panel that's done using completely hiding the background of the panel using panel colorizer. for the same blur effect on the video you'll have to edit your wallpaper with a small gradient of blur from the top.

I was not sure on the hiding background on the panel. I was prepared to add the blur on the wallpaper but the panel itself seems to have padding on the top? it wasnt flush to the top with transparency.

when you go to edit mode select the panel and turn off floating to get rid of the padding on top

as for the rest it seems like you got window decorations working so that's done, the rest is installing the plasma style and kvantum theme for the application theming.

kvantum is a theming engine for qt that makes it easy to theme because everything is based off svgs instead of programming the look in like how the default breeze does it

install kvantum using your package manager just doing pacman -S kvantum should suffice, then you can open the manager, select the kvantum theme folder (make sure to extract the tar somewhere first) and install it.

now you should have a brand new custom kvantum theme to select from the list, select it and hit apply and now in your system settings go to application styles and select kvantum dark

Okay this is what i have right now, The panel transparency is done via panel colorizer?

I have not found the option for that.

Im also struggling to install krohnkite, it doesnt seem to work.

if you're new i would recommend against autotiling with krohnkite or bismuth for the time being, the setup looks like how it should for now.

a good rule of thumb is lighter backgrounds for darker plasma themes and vice versa. it provides contrast as well as helps keeps things legible, for aesthetics ig it also helps show off transparency better.

for transparency you gotta set up a window rule for opacity, its where things get a little complicated.

to make things simple im attaching a simple window rules file that you can import and look at for how it works. you can duplicate and add your own apps to it to make them transparent.

i opted to make rules individually because i like to toggle off some apps individually, its quicker to simply check off a box rather than hunt down the name in a small text box

make sure you include the same class names in better blur too it knows what to target, like this.

if you add a window rule to an app to decrease opacity but don't add it to better blur it looks like this

How to get that bottom dock/panel |(not the top one as waybar) as you have in the video bro? Even I am an Ach Noob so asking?
Edit :- Nvm I saw wrong video but asking is there any way to get those apps in mid of your panel at bottom in a separane panel?? and top panel just have quick sttings on off and notifications??

you can have multiple panels yeah, just make an extra panel for whatever you want for top or bottom. if you only want an app dock at bottom kinda like MacOS, you need to disable that panel extending to screen edges. also arch has nothing to do with the desktop stuff, kde plasma will behave the same regardless of the distro.
