I mean, the add-on isn't called "Braille History..." I'm joking. This seems like a fair request and contribution, although maybe there should legitimately be a Braille History add-on. And I suspect some people might want some way of turning it off to avoid the display changing, e.g. because they're using Speech History as a quick way of checking something. |

Nods, a checkbox in settings, on by default, feels reasonable to me, although I'm willing to debate the default state. What initially made me add this was YouTube chapters, of all things. Was watching a video and my speech read off the chapter title, but the speech blended with the speaker's voice and the transition sound, so wanted a way to review what had been said. Hit shift f12 on the evolve's keyboard, heard it spoken, but the speaker's voice is still louder than my speech, so I couldn't make it out, and my display didn't re-flash it when I went through speech history like it did when it was first spoken. Will fix this up this weekend. |
Discovered while using a BrailleNote evolve, navigating through history etc never put anything on my display, even though I expected it to. I would be open to making this configurable too, but I doubt many will mind this.
