Life as a Service (LaaS) is a polished satirical SaaS product that treats having a life as an enterprise procurement and provisioning workflow. It is fictional, local-only, and earnestly committed to reconciling work, love, housing, pets, purpose, and the remaining supportable parts of a person.

Run locally

Requires Node.js 24 and pnpm 11.

pnpm install
pnpm dev

Open http://localhost:3000. The application uses three seeded demo profiles and saves the active fictional application in versioned localStorage. No user data leaves the browser. Reset from Application or Settings; corrupted and unsupported saved state falls back safely.

Verify and export

The exporter packages tracked and non-ignored working files into artifacts/exports/ after exclusion and secret checks. The repository-scoped repo-export skill defines the handoff workflow.

The working brand is temporary and centralized in src/config/brand.ts. Deliberately absent: authentication, databases, APIs, analytics, telemetry, external AI, remote fonts, deployment configuration, and a plausible reason to assign anyone hiking.
