jmsgrn/README.md

Howdy, I'm Andy.

TypeScript developer at a defense contractor. I think a lot about the layer above the model - harnesses, AGENTS.md, the scaffolding that makes an AI coding agent actually behave like it works on your codebase.

Things I'm into:

  • Agentic coding done right. Not vibes - budgets, audit trails, agents that earn their commits. I build my own tooling for this when the existing stuff annoys me, which is often.
  • The terminal as home. zsh, WezTerm, a dotfiles repo I've over-engineered, and the quiet satisfaction of a setup that follows me to any machine.
  • Ember. Yes, really. I'll defend it.
  • Running my own infra. A Proxmox homelab quietly humming in the corner - self-hosted Gitea, dev VMs, services I'd rather own than rent. If I can host it myself, I usually do.
  • Owning the whole pipeline. greenworks.dev ships through my own CI/CD on that homelab - Gitea, my own runners, push-to-deploy. No third-party build service in the loop, just my boxes doing the work.
