Summary

  • align the homepage with the four-study Research narrative and move the source-to-receptor figure into the main content flow
  • clarify the Research introduction, define abbreviations, number the four studies, add the figure, and add public furanoid outputs
  • rename the publications page to Selected Publications, order entries consistently, simplify citations, and group media links
  • align the web CV and navigation with the revised research framing
  • replace structural heading misuse with accessible, normal update text and add page-specific excerpts

Why

The Research page now uses a question-and-finding structure, while the rest of the site still reflected an older method-centered organization. This update gives visitors one coherent source-to-receptor story across the site.

Impact

Readers can move from a concise homepage overview to four substantiated research studies, selected publications, and a CV that use the same scientific framing.

Validation

  • reviewed the seven-file diff and checked Markdown whitespace
  • confirmed the live Research page already serves the current four-study revision
  • verified the canonical 2023 emissions-code repository name
  • the repository's Site checks workflow will perform the full Jekyll build and internal-link check

The Open Graph image remains unset intentionally: the existing research figure is not a purpose-built social-preview graphic, and the social-card design remains deferred.
