I received a Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of Seoul, where my research focused on statistical learning and variable selection. My academic work has also included nonparametric inference, generalized linear models, and model selection.
I am currently working as a researcher in the Department of Biostatistics at the National Cancer Center (NCC), where I develop statistical methodologies and conduct epidemiological and medical research based on public healthcare big data. I pursue research grounded in the practical needs of the field, so I am currently researching methods to estimate causal treatment effects.
- Variable selection
- Causal treatment effect estimation
- Real-world evidence using public healthcare big data
