Computer Science @ Harvey Mudd • Data Analytics + Full-Stack Builder • Student-Athlete

I’m a Computer Science student at Harvey Mudd College (Class of 2027) focused on data analytics, full-stack product development, and building tools that turn raw information into decisions. I’ve shipped dashboards and scheduling tools, and I’m currently extending a real project from a V1 prototype into a V2 with SQL-backed analytics.

Languages: Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, Racket • Web: React, Next.js, Tailwind CSS • Data: PostgreSQL (learning), SQL (in progress) • APIs: Google Sheets API, OpenAI API • Tools: Git

🎯 The Problem I Solve

A lot of organizations have the data they need — but it’s scattered, unstructured, and difficult to query. Reporting becomes manual, dashboards become fragile, and insights arrive too late.

I build systems that fix that by:

  • Turning messy sources into clean dashboards and role-based views
  • Designing workflows that keep data structured, auditable, and updatable
  • Automating repetitive analysis and writing using AI, while keeping outputs controlled
  • Shipping software like a real team: branches, PRs, review-ready commits

🔍 What I’m Looking For

I’m currently pursuing data analytics / analytics engineering / data science internships where I can:

  • Work with real datasets (messy, multi-source, changing)
  • Build dashboards and reporting pipelines that drive decisions
  • Combine analysis + engineering (not just notebooks)
  • Learn fast, iterate with feedback, and ship production-quality work

🚀 What I’ve Shipped

🏅 Software Engineer — P-ai at the Claremont Colleges

September 2025 – December 2025 • Claremont, CA

Developed responsive dashboards and scheduling tools for athletes and coaches, collaborating on backend API design and database integration.

Highlights

  • Built scalable UI components with React + Next.js
  • Collaborated on API/data integration using Spring Boot + PostgreSQL
  • Implemented real-time updates and clean end-to-end data flow

🗓️ TeamSync — Scheduling Platform (Claremont Colleges P-ai)

August 2025 – Present

Collaborating on a scheduling platform that integrates academic course catalogs with athletic practice schedules to detect conflicts and streamline planning.

What I’m building

  • Responsive calendar UI, course search/filters, role-based dashboards
  • Frontend development in React / Next.js
  • Iteration with real stakeholders (athletes/coaches/admins)

🏀 BlueDevils Digest — AI-Powered Sports Recap Dashboard (V1)

Summer 2025

Built a full-stack dashboard that uses Google Sheets as a live backend for Duke basketball game data, and generates structured content automatically.

Highlights

  • Next.js + TypeScript + Tailwind CSS
  • Google Sheets API as the live datastore (read/write)
  • OpenAI API to generate structured:
    • game recaps
    • tweets
    • hashtags
  • Secure server-side actions to write outputs back to the data source

🧪 In Progress: BlueDevils Digest (V2 Extension Track)

I’m currently building a V2 of BlueDevils Digest that keeps V1 intact and adds modern UI, filters, SQL, analytics, and improved AI narrative generation.

What makes this a real engineering project

  • V1 stays untouched as the original shipped build
  • V2 lives in separate folders and is developed incrementally via milestone branches + PRs
  • Each milestone is reviewable, testable, and documented like a production workflow

V2 areas I’m actively working in

  • app/dashboard_v2/ (new dashboard UI)
  • lib/metrics/ (analytics + computed values)
  • lib/filters/ (filter logic + state)
  • lib/db/ + prisma/ (SQL-backed data layer)
  • scripts/syncSheetsToDb.ts (pipeline: Sheets → DB)

🗄️ Phase 2 Focus: Migrating from Google Sheets → SQL (In Progress)

V1 used Google Sheets as the “source of truth.” V2 upgrades the data layer so the dashboard can support:

  • More flexible querying for analytics
  • Cleaner derived metrics
  • A foundation for repeatable reporting as the dataset grows
